CSC Officers visits Catbalogan WD for CHARM
Catbalogan City - The officers of Civil Service Commission Regional Office No. VIII conducted a Comprehensive Human Resource Management Assessment, Review and Monitoring (CHARM) in CWD Office to determine the capability and preparedness of the agency for the grant of accreditation, including the determination of the soundness of the agency's personnel management operation.
The assessment covers concerning the Recruitment, Selection and Placement, Performance Management, HRD Plan-Learning and Development, Rewards and Recognition which were spearheaded by the PRIME-Team Ms. Cerise D. Verzosa, of Policies and Systems Evaluation Division and the Civil Service Provincial Director, Dir. Rey Albert Uy last May 6-7, 2014 .
CHARM is in fact under the recent development of the Commission strategic policies with the end view of capacitating agencies towards excellence in their human resource management function called Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in HR Management (PRIME-HRM).

The said two days assessment also includes an interview with some of the employees since the Commission underscored the importance of the program and its targeting the conferment of Level II Accredited Status to agencies with HRM potentials. Exit conference was done to bring to an end the said assessment.
