CWD Joins the 113th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary Celebration
CWD also joins the fun walk cum fund raising activity for the most-needy pupils in Samar dubbed as "DIEZ PESOS PARA LOS ALUMNOS". The activities lined with this month-long celebration were Blood-Letting activity called "Dugo ko, Kinabuhi Mo" held at SSU Gym on September 19, 2013, followed by Symposium on the Implementing Rules of the R.A. 10154, known as an Act Requiring all Concerned Agencies the Early Release of the Retirement Pay, Pensions, Gratuities and other Benefits of Retiring Government Employees, scheduled on September 24, 2013 at SSU Audio Visual Center. Lastly, to culminate the celebration is a Tree Planting Activity scheduled on September 30, 2013.
CWD joins the month-long celebration of Civil Service Anniversary. In cooperation, CWD hangs/displays streamers for the 113th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary with the theme "TATAK LINGKOD BAYANI: ISABUHAY, IPAGMALAKI, IPAGBUNYI".

In line with the 113th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, CWD held its first Katubigan Sport Fest the Search for Ms. Tubig 2013 and the Aguador 3on3 Basketball Tournament. The search for Ms Tubig 2013 was held during the opening of the Sport Fest. Candidates for Ms Tubig 2013 were Nelly Mahinay, muse of team Slow; Maria Reyes, muse of team Gerry; Yolanda Arizala, muse of team Rejustino; Patria Dacallos, muse of team Berres; Suzette Cabunag, muse of team Roma; Odette Tesoro, muse of team Unay; Marianne Cruz, muse of team Candido; and Marilyn Serida, muse of team Davantes. Nelly Mahinay got the Ms. Tubig 2013; Maria Reyes garnered the 1st runner-up and Yolanda Arizala placed 2nd runner-up.
The Aguador 3on3 Basketball Tournament was joined by 8 teams of 4 members. Team Unay placed as champion; team Berres (1st runner-up) and the team Roma (2nd runner-up).
The Sport Fest was participated by regular employees, casuals, job orders and contract services. All who participated the Sport Fest enjoyed the said activity, with the purpose of enhancing the Health and Wellness of CWD employees.
