CWD Join "Catbalogan City 2015 JOBS FAIR"
Catbalogan City - In commemoration of the 8th Charter Day Celebration for the cityhood of Catbalogan, the city government conducted the "2015 Jobs Fair", spearheaded by the City Mayor itself, Hon. Stephanie Uy-Tan, to support the social upliftment of its constituents.
The said event was participated by different organizations and or agencies residing here in city. Among participating agencies is the Catbalogan Water District who supports this program for the good of the citizens of Catbalogan who wish to seek for employment. Other agencies who participated this event are the, 8th Infantry Division of the AFP, Department of Trade and Industry, CENRO, SAMICO, Chinabank, and other agencies who support the City Mayor's program.
Participating agencies were given and provided with tents, tables and chairs for their respective kiosk, wherein applicants submitted their application and conducted an on-the-spot interview. The career expo lasted for eight hours, which starts at 8:00 in the morning and ended at 5:00 in the afternoon.
Maria Patria Dacallos, the Human Resource Officer of Catbalogan Water District is the one who scrutinized the application and resume of the job seekers if they are qualified or entitled for the job applied for. Myriad of application letters was submitted to the CWD kiosk and bulk of applicants was interviewed.
In the end, this project was supposed to aid the constituents of the city as who wished to seek employment inside the city itself.
